Lexihope

Lexihope is an app for learning Spanish vocabulary. It helps you memorize words and phrases through three types of exercises: multiple choice (pick from 4 options), matching pairs, and spelling out words letter by letter.

How it works

The app uses a smart repetition system — words you struggle with come back more often, while ones you know well fade into longer intervals. This keeps practice focused on what actually needs work.

There’s a built-in dictionary of 500+ words and phrases to get started, plus the ability to add your own — so you can capture vocabulary from real life as you encounter it.

Motivation

I’m learning Spanish while living in Spain, and existing vocab apps either feel too gamified (I don’t need streaks and XP) or too rigid (fixed word lists that don’t match my actual vocabulary gaps). Lexihope is built for how I actually learn — from real content, at my own pace.
